I unfortunately find myself losing a bit more respect for my studio prof each time I talk to her. Yesterday she told me that my design sensibility is STUBBORN.
I've definitely have had professors that I didn't like, and professors that I didn't agree with, but on some level, I could always find some quality or some skill to appreciate. Maybe it's just a miscommunication sort of thing. Maybe it's my own fault for being unable to show her what I am saying.
The process of design is already confusing enough without word choice getting in the way.
FRAME is not synonymous with STRUCTURE
AESTHETICS is not synonymous with QUALITY
WOOD VENEER does not make it WOOD STRUCTURE
dear prof, please stop using these words interchangeably
